This is gonna be a short one. I read a grand total of four books in August. Yep, that’s right. Four.
- 32 Yolks by Eric Ripert. Food memoir from the Top Chef judge. Sadly, I didn’t enjoy it very much. I wrote a review though! Read it here.
- The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame. This children’s classic was goddamned delightful. Read my review here.
- Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari. Comedy and social science, united at last! I listened to the audiobook read by Ansari himself.
- Kushiel’s Avatar by Jacqueline Carey. Probably my least favorite of the three books in the Phèdre Trilogy but still a lot of fun.
Yup. That’s it. I don’t even have an excuse for this. Apparently, I was just not in reading this past month. Here’s to a better September!
