August Reading Wrap-Up

This is gonna be a short one. I read a grand total of four books in August. Yep, that’s right. Four.

  1. 32 Yolks by Eric Ripert. Food memoir from the Top Chef judge. Sadly, I didn’t enjoy it very much. I wrote a review though! Read it here.
  2. The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame. This children’s classic was goddamned delightful. Read my review here.
  3. Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari. Comedy and social science, united at last! I listened to the audiobook read by Ansari himself.
  4. Kushiel’s Avatar  by Jacqueline Carey. Probably my least favorite of the three books in the Phèdre Trilogy but still a lot of fun.

Yup. That’s it. I don’t even have an excuse for this. Apparently, I was just not in reading this past month. Here’s to a better September!
