February was a bit of an uninspired month as far as reading goes. This was in part because life (ugh… stop being dumb life!) and in part because I have been reading A Little Life, which has been, not exactly a slog but certainly not a quick, breezy read. It’s not exactly surprising then that of the six books I read this month, four were comics. I also decided to give up on one of my reading resolutions (read short stories) because you know what, I just don’t want to read them. In better news: I’m still on track for my overall books read goal for the year; I will be finishing my fourth Read Harder Challenge book in a day or two; and I discovered that I’ve actually been doing pretty well on “read more books by people who aren’t white” resolution because Courtney Milan, whose books I’ve been binge reading, is a person of color.
